Kalmar FF has once again strengthened its squad with the signing of striker César Santin. The 33-year-old Santin was presented at a press conference at Guldfågeln arena on Wednesday. The contract is valid for the rest of the season, initially. Hans Eklund, coach of Kalmar FF, is pleased with the signing. - As a coach, I'm glad we can make such an addition during the summer. We've missed a leader who can help this young team take a step forward in development, says Eklund. The interest in the press conference was high, and Kalmar FF was supposed to broadcast it live on their website, but shortly after 15, it was no longer possible to access Kalmar FF.se or reach the link to the broadcast. Kalmar FF is also testing three players in Thursday's U21 match against Mjällby. Papa Yaw James, Stephan Ngaha, and Marco Kotilainen are the players who get the chance. Papa Yaw James is 23 years old and from Ghana. Stephan Ngaha is a striker from Cameroon, born in 1994. He had a trial with IFK Värnamo two days ago. Marco Kotilainen, a 28-year-old midfielder from Qviding in division 1, has scored eight goals in 30 matches. Kotilainen has played twelve matches for Assyriska in Superettan 2010, but has also played in the Finnish and Icelandic leagues. César Santin returns to Kalmar FF after previously playing for the club. He is an experienced striker who can contribute to improving Kalmar FF's attacking play. With Santin in the team, Kalmar FF hopes to be able to take a step forward in development and improve their position in Allsvenskan. The signing of Santin is a significant boost to the team, and fans are eagerly awaiting his debut. Kalmar FF will face tough competition in the coming weeks, but with Santin on board, they are confident of achieving good results.
