Kalmar FF near record sale of Vince Osuji

Kalmar FF is close to selling Vince Osuji to Club Brügge. According to Aftonbladet, the parties are in final negotiations and only details remain.

What happened?

Vince Osuji joined Kalmar FF in April and gained significant trust in the Småland club during the Allsvenskan season. The midfielder had previously been of interest to the French clubs Reims and Strasbourg, but no transfer was ever completed.

Why is it important for Kalmar FF?

If the transfer becomes a reality, it could be Kalmar FF's most expensive player sale in history. In 2007, the club sold Aru Ferreira to AZ Alkmaar for 41 million kronor, and the Osuji sale could generate more money for KFF than that.
